HEH – Updates: Latest progress on the construction site

From the nearly completed site entrance to significant advancements in LNG tank construction – development is moving steadily forward.

New construction site access area is nearly finished
The redesign of the HEH construction site access area is nearing completion. Recently, extensive asphalting work was carried out in the spacious entrance area. A waiting-area for vehicles, security checkpoints for employees, barrier systems and even a bus stop for worker shuttles were part of the extensive works. This now ensures efficient and, above all, dust-free logistics of goods and personnel to and from the construction site.

LNG tank construction progresses
Significant progress has been made on the tank construction in recent weeks. For Tank 1, the reinforcement steel for the transition to the tank's outer wall has already been completed. For the past two weeks, the concrete for the slab has been poured using mobile concrete pumps mounted on lorries equipped with large booms. For Tank 2, the reinforcement work on the base slab is making rapid progress. The reinforcement steel is being installed and connected in a fascinating pattern according to the most precise specifications.
